Plug and Play Connectivity
DIY-EFI CORE8 ECUs are developed as a direct plug-in solution to achieve standalone engine management. Without connecting additional sensors, the ECU fits into the factory case and simply plugs into the factory harness.
As well as supporting all the factory sensors, DIY-EFI CORE8 ECUs feature an Auxiliary connector allowing for plug in wideband sensor installation, and the option to add additional sensors.FOR MANUAL & MANUAL SWAPPED CARS ONLY.
Industry Leading Dashboard / AC Integration.
We have created a custom controller to talk BEAN to the rest of the car.
This allows for dash and AC integration.
Currently implemented is: Coolant gauge, Battery light, oil pressure Light, VSS to ECU, Aprox fuel level to ECU, MPG gauge, Fuel gauge working, ambient temperature, AC pressure sensor, AC activation.
Not currently implemented: Low oil level light.
Advanced users can make use of Snow button, PWR button, Snow light, PWR light

DIY-EFI CORE8 ECUs run FOME software. FOME (Free Open Motorsports ECU) is an open-source project intending to deliver a user focused high feature ECU.
Capable of supporting modern vehicles and giving control back to the user, owner and driver.
SD Card Data Logging
With every start of the engine, the ECU automatically begins logging all data to the onboard SD card at a rate of up to 50Hz.
Gone are the days of having a laptop in the passenger footwell connected whilst on the track.
Be confident both on the road and the track that you will be able to look back at what your engine was doing at every moment.
When you need a log, simply plug in the USB cable, browse to the USB drive that appears and download to your PC for analysis in Mega Log Viewer.
A 32GB card is included and fitted for you, giving you the ability to log drive after drive.

Due to us having to reverse engineer the factory communications, the implementation is not perfect, the MPG gauge is not hugely accurate, also you may experience occasional dropouts of the coolant and ambient temperatures.
The “TRC OFF” light will be permanently on, and TRC will not function, remove the bulb to resolve.
